Assistant Manager – Finance Planning & Business Partnering

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead finance planning and business partnering for a leading FMCG/manufacturing organisation in Colombo. The role will support strategic decision‑making through robust financial analysis, forecasting and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, execution and monitoring of the Annual Business Plan and 3‑5 year Integrated Business Plan.
• Drive quarterly rolling forecasts and monthly S&OP forecasts to inform business decisions.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews and provide actionable financial insights to stakeholders.
• Prepare variance analyses against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key drivers.
• Monitor KPIs, oversee cost‑center reviews and champion cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Fully qualified member of a recognised professional accounting body (ACMA, ACCA or ACA) with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in financial planning, business partnering or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical ability, excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
