Wealth Planner Manager

About the role

The Wealth Planner Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position in Colombo, leading a team of wealth planners to deliver high‑quality financial advice and solutions for AIA’s clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily sales activities such as prospecting, client meetings, portfolio reviews and follow‑up to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Set performance targets, coach team members, organise training and monitor compliance with AIA’s standards.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and operations teams to optimise service delivery and implement campaigns.

Required profile

• Strong financial planning and wealth management knowledge, able to design holistic solutions covering insurance, savings and investment products.
• Leadership and people‑management experience, including coaching teams and driving sales results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field; professional certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
• Analytical ability to interpret financial data, market trends and regulatory requirements.
