About the role
Join the Statutory Financial Reporting & Control team at LSEG to gain hands‑on experience in accounting, statutory audits and tax reporting for a global financial markets group.
Key responsibilities
- Support timely and accurate financial reporting for LSEG subsidiaries.
- Assist with month‑end close, ensuring transactions comply with accounting policies.
- Liaise with external auditors to complete statutory and tax audits.
- Collaborate with the tax team on audit queries.
- Maintain internal controls and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Accounting undergraduate or part‑qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and bookkeeping.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Detail‑oriented, autonomous decision‑maker.
- Ability to build relationships with global colleagues.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel for sophisticated spreadsheets.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle and Oracle Fusion systems.
- Familiarity with audit processes.
