About the role

The Software Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers to deliver high‑quality software products while aligning technical work with the company’s strategic goals. This role blends technical direction, people management, and project oversight to ensure successful product development and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent; provide regular feedback and career development.
• Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
• Provide architectural oversight, guide technical decisions, and ensure adherence to best practices in design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering and cross‑functional teams such as Product, Design, QA, and Operations.
• Define and continuously improve engineering processes, including agile practices, release management, and incident response.
