Software Engineering Internship – Non‑Windows SDKs (6 months)

About the role

Zebra Technologies is looking for a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join its Non‑Windows SDKs and Tools team in Sri Lanka. Over a six‑month period you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of SDKs and utility tools that run on Android, iOS, and Linux platforms, supporting Zebra’s data‑capture devices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coding, debugging, and testing non‑Windows SDKs and related utilities.
• Participate in Scrum sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leads to resolve connectivity and data‑parsing issues.
• Gain hands‑on experience with RFID and advanced scanner hardware.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Basic understanding of Android, iOS, or Linux operating systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
