Software Engineer

About the role

The Software Engineer will provide development expertise across multiple streams, supporting the implementation, quality automation, and delivery of software products. The role involves translating business needs into technical solutions while adhering to ISA's architectural principles and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and automate testing for software components and products.
• Collaborate with product teams, project managers, and IT solutions managers to convert business requirements into technical implementations.
• Support testing, implementation, and review of technical documentation, user guides, and system specifications.
• Identify and recommend appropriate tools, languages, and technologies to meet design and quality standards.
• Ensure user interfaces meet requirements and are correctly implemented.
• Promote best practices, emerging technologies, and continuous knowledge sharing within the organization.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across product, operations, governance, and enterprise development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• 1–2 years of experience in an IT environment, preferably in a development or DevOps role.
• Strong algorithmic skills and experience with core system configuration and testing.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and site reliability engineering principles.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to analyze data and identify pitfalls.
