Software Engineer - Forward Deployed Engineering

About the role

We are building a next‑generation technology platform that combines modern software engineering, workflow automation, system integration, and AI to transform business operations. The role is a Forward Deployed Engineering position where you will stay hands‑on while working directly with business teams to identify automation, integration, and AI opportunities and deliver solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#/.NET and React/TypeScript.
• Build high‑quality APIs, services, integrations, and business applications following SOLID principles.
• Work with business teams to understand processes, identify manual tasks, and create automation solutions.
• Develop workflow automation using Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, and Storage.
• Create integrations between internal apps, ERP systems, and third‑party platforms using APIs, webhooks, and event‑driven architecture.
• Develop AI‑powered solutions with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps and deploy containerized applications to Azure.
• Provide production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.

Required skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, API Management).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
• Interest in AI‑powered applications; exposure to Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, or prompt engineering is a plus.
