About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Showroom Assistant to join our well‑established hardware and homeware supermarket chain. You will be the front‑line contact converting visitors into satisfied customers.
Key responsibilities
- Convert potential customers visiting the showroom into sales.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and follow‑up.
- Identify customer needs and propose innovative ideas to increase sales.
- Handle customer issues, complaints and grievances.
- Build strong working relationships with supporting teams.
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry.
Required profile
- Previous experience in managing showroom operations and providing excellent customer care.
- Enthusiastic individual with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Minimum qualification: GCE A/L or higher professional qualification.
- Strong written and spoken English and Sinhala.
