SEO Specialist Consultant

About the role

Codax, a marketing and growth agency serving B2B clients in technology, cybersecurity, healthcare services and finance, is looking for a hands‑on SEO Specialist Consultant. This hybrid role works 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at a rate of LKR 60,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Run technical SEO across multiple client sites, addressing crawl, indexing, speed, schema and internal linking issues.
• Research client buyer search behavior and translate findings into page briefs and on‑page improvements.
• Structure content to appear in AI answers and featured snippets (AEO).
• Track buyer prompts for AI assistants, record mentions and reasons.
• Close gaps where competitors appear in AI answers through content, citations, third‑party mentions and structured data.
• Report monthly per client in plain language on changes, successes and next steps.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably for B2B or SaaS brands.
• Ability to switch between clients and industries while maintaining focus.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Google Search Console and GA4.
• Experience with Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Practical understanding of AI‑driven search source selection.
• Proficiency editing directly in CMS platforms such as Webflow, WordPress or HubSpot.
