Senior Software Engineer – Windows Desktop & SDK

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the scanner tools team, developing and maintaining Windows‑based desktop applications and SDK components that power Zebra's device integration ecosystem. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams within an Agile/Scrum workflow to deliver reliable, high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications and SDK components using C++, C# and .NET.
• Debug and resolve complex performance, compatibility and integration issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and release documentation.
• Investigate and remediate security vulnerabilities as part of release cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software development experience focused on Windows.
• Strong C/C++/C#/.NET skills and deep understanding of Windows OS internals.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Strong debugging and communication abilities.
• Preferred experience with SDK/driver‑level or hardware integration.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cross‑platform development (Linux/Android).
