Senior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at CodeGen International you will design, develop and maintain enterprise‑grade software products, focusing on scalable, secure and high‑performance solutions while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build secure, high‑performance web application features using Angular or React for the enterprise travel product.
• Develop and deliver scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot and RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, security and performance across all developments.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership from development through production deployment.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert across multiple product modules and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of hands‑on software engineering experience, including at least 1 year as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills and ability to leverage AI coding assistants.
• Growth mindset, clear communication and leadership qualities.
