Senior React Native / Full-Stack Mobile Engineer - 3month contract

About the role

We are seeking a Senior React Native / Full-Stack Mobile Engineer to join our team on a three‑month contract. The ideal candidate will own features from design through production, delivering high‑quality iOS and Android applications while collaborating closely with product, design, QA, and backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production‑grade iOS and Android apps using React Native and Expo.
• Build reusable UI components with TypeScript and manage navigation and state using Expo Router, React Navigation, Jotai, or Context API.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, and work with backend services such as PostgreSQL and Supabase.
• Implement mobile features including push notifications, authentication, and file/image uploads.
• Optimize performance for rendering, image loading, network usage, and overall app responsiveness.
• Write and maintain automated tests with Jest and React Native Testing Library.
• Participate in code reviews, manage Expo SDK upgrades, and resolve breaking changes.
• Support build, testing, and release processes for both App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Monitor production issues, troubleshoot defects, and deliver reliable fixes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong background in React Native and TypeScript with a track record of shipping iOS and Android apps.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of features, and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
