Senior Project Engineer - Network Security

About the role

Cube Networks is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade network and security solutions for its APAC clients. Based in Colombo, you will work with Australian stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, validation and delivery of networking, security and data‑centre solutions, including client workshops and detailed documentation.
• Build and implement solutions according to scope, timelines and budget, and provide Level 3 post‑implementation support.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, risk logs and handover materials.
• Support presales activities such as solution design, pricing estimates and Statement of Work preparation.
• Contribute to service revenue targets, review budgets and commercial scopes, and flag risks or overruns.
• Mentor project engineers, drive capability development and share technical knowledge across the delivery team.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience delivering enterprise technology projects in networking, security, cloud or collaboration environments.
• Background in systems integration or large‑scale enterprise environments with hands‑on project delivery.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper) are highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with international teams.
