Senior Product Intelligence Partner

About the role

IFS is looking for a Senior Product Intelligence Partner to act as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering and Platform leadership teams. The role supports team-level improvement conversations by providing data-driven insights, AI-enabled analysis and evidence-based decision making to improve execution health, delivery effectiveness, product quality and organizational performance. It is a business partnering role, not a reporting-only or dashboard-building role, and candidates can be based in the UK, Sweden or Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Group leadership teams, attend leadership meetings and operational reviews, and give independent, evidence-based perspectives
• Build a data-driven framework for measuring software engineering execution health, delivery performance, quality and organizational effectiveness, and use AI-enabled analysis to find patterns and anomalies
• Analyze root causes of changes in delivery flow, quality, developer productivity and team health, combining quantitative data with qualitative context
• Help leadership teams define measurable improvement initiatives, track their effectiveness and shape intelligence products such as dashboards, narratives and self-service capabilities
• Work with Community of Practice leaders to surface recurring patterns, risks and opportunities, and to improve the Product Intelligence platform through feedback
• Use AI responsibly to accelerate insight discovery and trend analysis, ensuring outputs are explainable and validated

Required profile

• At least 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, product development, engineering operations, product operations, consulting, analytics or related leadership roles
• Experience working directly with senior leadership teams and influencing decisions through data-driven insights
• Proven ability to turn complex datasets into clear executive-level insights and actionable recommendations
• Experience driving operational improvements through influence rather than direct authority, and facilitating continuous improvement and organizational change

Required skills

• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and delivery lifecycles
• Deep knowledge of software delivery effectiveness frameworks and metrics, including DORA, SPACE, flow metrics and developer experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
