Senior Java Developer – Backend Microservices

About the role

This senior individual‑contributor position focuses on designing, building, and scaling the backend services for a NYSE‑listed AI‑driven customer analytics platform. You will work in a collaborative, innovation‑driven environment using modern cloud‑native technologies, microservices, and AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end microservices from concept to production.
• Own the full lifecycle of containerized API services, including maintenance, testing strategy, and day‑to‑day operations.
• Participate in all agile delivery stages: design, implementation, and deployment.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining high code quality.
• Collaborate with a small cross‑functional team to deliver features that drive product growth.
• Explore and recommend new technologies, tools, and approaches to strengthen the product.
• Continuously learn new tools, languages, and workflows.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience building backend systems in Java.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong command of object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
