Senior Facilities Executive - Electrical

About the role

The Senior Facilities Executive – Electrical will work closely with the Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager to ensure the seamless day‑to‑day operation of all building services. The role focuses on maintaining high‑performance electrical and mechanical systems, driving continuous improvement, and safeguarding health, safety and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and modification of electrical infrastructure including UPS, DC battery systems, distribution transformers with on‑load tap changers, diesel generators, MV & LV switchgear, STS, PLCs, elevators, fire detection & protection systems, building management system, environmental monitoring systems and PA system.
• Manage HVAC and related plant assets such as split A/C, VRV, CRAC, AHU, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, plumbing and sewage treatment plant.
• Identify safety hazards, implement risk mitigation plans and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop engineering technical staff to build a high‑performing team.
• Maintain accurate records of building rounds, engineering logs and data sheets.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance programmes with minimal disruption.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns, coordinate with vendors and internal teams to minimise downtime.
• Support procurement of equipment, materials and manage work orders using tools such as Corrigo Enterprise, Business Intelligence Portal and AtW/PtW Platform.
• Participate in annual shutdown planning to ensure asset compliance and safety.

Required profile

• Significant experience in facilities or building services management, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing technical teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate emergency response actions.
