Security Analyst

About the role

GTN is seeking a Security Analyst to join its global Information Security team. The role supports the company’s fintech brokerage platform by investigating incidents, validating vulnerabilities, and assisting with secure code reviews. You will work closely with a 24/7 SOC and internal engineering teams across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate cybersecurity incidents, determine root cause, and support containment and remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, support penetration testing, and review third‑party security questionnaires.
• Validate asset security controls, review scan results, and track remediation progress.
• Analyze SOC‑referred findings from SIEM, EDR, endpoint, cloud, network and vulnerability tools.
• Perform threat‑hunting across logs, endpoint telemetry, cloud activity and network events.
• Review security issues in production and development, including secure code review and remediation validation.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor for issue reproduction and vulnerability validation.
• Engage vendors and clients on security findings, risks and proof‑of‑concept demonstrations.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with incident response, vulnerability validation and penetration‑testing support.
• Ability to work on‑call for urgent incidents outside normal hours.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
