Sales Officer

About the role

The Sales Officer will drive retail sales of Home Credit India’s financial products by engaging directly with customers and collaborating with channel partners. Based on‑site in Sri Lanka, you will identify prospects, explain product features and guide applicants through the onboarding process while ensuring a smooth, compliant sales journey.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential customers across assigned locations.
• Present and explain Home Credit financial products, terms and benefits.
• Guide customers through application, documentation and onboarding.
• Manage sales operations, track leads, conversions and maintain accurate records.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and monitor performance metrics.
• Provide post‑sale support and address customer queries.
• Support promotional activities at points‑of‑sale and coordinate with retail partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and smooth processing.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with ability to resolve queries.
• Proven lead generation and prospecting capabilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in sales operations and familiarity with channel sales.
• Basic understanding of consumer finance products and credit processes.
• Willingness to work on‑site, meet field targets and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum high school diploma; degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in retail finance, banking or FMCG sales is a plus.
