Sales & Marketing Manager – Agricultural Exports

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead the growth of Koslanda’s premium agricultural export portfolio, covering vanilla, cinnamon, pepper, tea and related products. Based on‑site in Boralesgamuwa, the role combines strategic market planning with hands‑on client management to expand both local and international sales channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue for plantation crops.
• Identify new customers worldwide and nurture existing client relationships.
• Manage inquiries, orders, and coordinate with production, logistics and finance to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports and monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing.
• Lead promotional activities and maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Agriculture or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in marketing strategy, brand positioning and campaign management for B2B or B2C markets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills with local and international clients.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyse data and produce clear sales performance reports.
• Knowledge of export procedures and international trade practices in agricultural commodities is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms and online marketing techniques.
