Sales Manager

About the role

DIC Lanka, the Sri Lankan arm of DIC Corporation, is seeking a self‑motivated Sales Manager to promote and market its range of printing inks and allied products. The role involves driving sales growth, building client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams and foreign principals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial agreements with customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and customer requirements.
• Work closely with the sales & marketing team, other departments and foreign principals.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through regular visits.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in science, business or a recognized sales & marketing qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years sales/marketing experience in printing inks, paints & coatings, chemicals, printing or packaging industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication abilities.
