Sales Executive

About the role

Lanka Bio Fertilizers is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join its on‑site team in Sri Lanka. You will be responsible for expanding the company’s fertilizer portfolio across agricultural clients and distributors, ensuring strong relationships and consistent revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agricultural sector.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers.
• Visit farms and distributors to conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and follow up on orders to guarantee timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends, collect customer feedback, and report sales performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams on inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment.
• Produce regular sales forecasts and reports.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in agriculture, agro‑chemicals or related industrial products.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to travel frequently and conduct field visits across assigned territories.
• Basic knowledge of fertilizers, crop nutrition and local farming practices.
• Organizational and time‑management skills with a results‑driven mindset.
• Valid driving licence.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, Business Management or a related field is preferred.
