Sales Development Representative – IT Solutions

About the role

The Sales Development Representative will drive revenue for Cambridge Marketing by identifying and engaging prospective clients across Sri Lanka. Working on‑site in Colombo, you will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and booking meetings to presenting tailored IT and digital marketing solutions and closing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify potential clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
• Book and conduct meetings with business owners and decision‑makers.
• Analyse client challenges and recommend appropriate technology, marketing or business management solutions.
• Present and sell websites, web applications, POS systems, ERP platforms, custom IT solutions, performance marketing and social media management services.
• Prepare sales presentations and proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
• Handle objections, negotiate terms and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reporting.
• Coordinate client onboarding and ongoing account management to foster long‑term relationships and upsell opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling IT, software, or technology services.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, book meetings and close deals.
• Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala; Tamil is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and results‑driven.
