Sales Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, detail‑oriented Sales Coordinator to act as the bridge between our international suppliers and Sri Lankan customers. The role covers the full order‑to‑delivery cycle, ensuring shipments are scheduled, documentation is accurate, and all parties receive timely information.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase orders and shipping schedules with overseas suppliers and local customers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Prepare quotations, pro‑forma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists and other export/import documents.
• Monitor shipment progress, liaise with freight forwarders and clearing agents, and keep stakeholders updated until goods are delivered.
• Maintain accurate order histories in Excel or ERP systems for easy retrieval and analysis.
• Respond to customer and supplier queries by email and phone, resolving issues quickly.
• Compile periodic sales and logistics reports to support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational abilities with a proven track record of handling large volumes of orders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with ERP or order‑management software is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a quick learning attitude.
• Adaptable, proactive and eager to improve workflows.
