About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Manager to lead the Rock Shop team at Colombo City Centre, delivering an outstanding Hard Rock guest experience and driving sales, profitability and brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate the retail team.
• Deliver an outstanding Hard Rock guest experience.
• Manage sales targets, KPIs, inventory, ordering, and stock levels.
• Ensure effective visual merchandising and store standards.
• Manage staffing, labor costs, and overall profitability.
• Coordinate purchasing, shipping, and customs processes.
• Develop creative promotions and local marketing activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and the local community.
• Support employee engagement, training, and a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with Hard Rock standards, safety requirements, and ethical practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail management or a fast‑paced customer‑focused environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Commercially minded with a focus on sales, KPIs, and profitability.
• Excellent organizational and people‑management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Professional, energetic, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
