Relationship Manager – Deposit Mobilizations

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Deposit Mobilizations will lead initiatives to grow and retain the bank's deposit portfolio. You will work closely with branch teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase deposit volumes in line with business targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective deposit customers.
• Oversee end‑to‑end deposit operations across branches, ensuring accuracy and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational guidelines.
• Identify process gaps, monitor risks, and implement corrective controls.
• Collaborate with branch managers to improve customer experience and turnaround times.
• Prepare management reports, MIS updates, and performance analyses.
• Support branch teams in achieving deposit‑related KPIs and business development goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in deposit mobilization, deposit operations, or relationship management within a bank or NBFI.
• Strong understanding of deposit products, operational workflows, and regulatory guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with core banking or financial services systems.
