Recruitment Consultant (Resourcer) – UK Healthcare (Offshore)

About the role

Join MedMatch’s offshore delivery team in Colombo as a Recruitment Consultant (Resourcer) supporting UK doctors and healthcare placements. You will work UK hours under a UK Recruitment Manager, sourcing and qualifying candidates for permanent roles across the NHS and private sector.

Key responsibilities

• Search and qualify candidates from an established database, job boards and LinkedIn.
• Write and update job adverts, run targeted email and mail‑shot campaigns.
• Conduct thorough qualifying calls, log details in the recruitment CRM and match candidates to live vacancies.
• Manage multiple candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews and keep candidates engaged.
• Support offer negotiations and hand over successful placements to the compliance team.

Required profile

• Experience in a commercial recruitment agency, RPO or BPO environment (any sector or geography).
• Proven ability to deliver for overseas clients, preferably from Sri Lanka.
• Strong screening and interviewing skills with clear, confident spoken and written English.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a target‑driven setting.
• Desire to specialise in healthcare recruitment and progress to full‑cycle consulting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a recruitment CRM or applicant tracking system.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.
