React Native Mobile Development Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Consultant to design, develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native. The role involves creating scalable UI components, integrating diverse APIs, and ensuring high performance and security across Android and iOS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement React Native applications with reusable, maintainable UI components.
• Integrate RESTful, GraphQL and WebSocket services and manage application state using Redux Toolkit, Redux or Context API.
• Optimize performance, startup time, memory usage and battery consumption; implement offline‑first capabilities.
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, biometric) and integrate device features such as camera, GPS, Bluetooth, push notifications, deep linking and QR/barcode scanning.
• Work with native Android and iOS modules when required and publish apps to Google Play and Apple App Store.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers and DevOps teams; participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Apply cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and follow DevOps, security and software‑development lifecycle best practices.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript and mobile‑application architecture.
• Proven experience with API integration, state management and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with authentication standards, device capabilities and native module development.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, prompt engineering, large language models, vector databases and AI‑assisted coding tools.
