Purchasing Executive – Malabe

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Executive to manage end‑to‑end procurement activities in our Malabe office. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, handling purchase documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to support operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the complete purchasing process from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO).
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery capability.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate competitive prices and payment terms, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate deliveries with stores, warehouse, and operations teams.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, resolve delivery issues, and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Monitor supplier performance, address quality or quantity discrepancies, and support cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with Finance/Accounts on invoices, payments, and PO/invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare procurement reports and assist in planning based on forecasts and stock levels.

Required profile

• Diploma/Degree or professional qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Management, Finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience.
• Sound knowledge of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management processes.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
