Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead end‑to‑end procurement activities in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on sourcing, purchasing, supplier management and delivering cost‑effective solutions while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition, RFQ and supplier selection to purchase order creation and delivery follow‑up.
• Source, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery criteria.
• Conduct market research, quotation comparisons and price analysis.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts and delivery schedules.
• Process purchase requisitions and orders using SAP Ariba and SAP ERP.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and timelines.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information and contract documentation.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of RFQs, supplier evaluation, purchasing and contract management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent English and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
