Pool Technician

About the role

The Pool Technician is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of the swimming pools and associated facilities at Anantara Kalutara Resort. The role ensures water quality, chemical balance, filtration and circulation systems are maintained to provide guests with a safe and enjoyable swimming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust water quality and chemical levels on a regular basis.
• Maintain and service filtration and circulation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine cleaning of pool surfaces, decks and related areas.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and promptly address any technical faults.
• Keep accurate records of water tests, chemical usage and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work complies with hotel standards, health and safety regulations and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with other hotel departments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet pool operation needs.
