Pool Technician

About the role

The Pool Technician is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of the hotel’s swimming pools and related facilities at Anantara Kalutara Resort. You will ensure water quality, chemical balance and equipment performance meet the brand’s high standards, providing guests with a safe and enjoyable swimming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust water quality and chemical levels daily.
• Maintain filtration and circulation systems, including pumps, filters and skimmers.
• Perform routine cleaning of pool surfaces, decks and surrounding areas.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and promptly address any technical faults.
• Keep accurate records of water tests, maintenance activities and chemical usage.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in pool or spa maintenance, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Attention to detail and strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to maintenance issues.
