Paralegal – Commercial Property (Australia)

About the role

Teqnet Solutions is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to support a legal practice handling commercial and retail leasing matters. You will work independently using established precedents and templates, ensuring high accuracy while assisting solicitors throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and populate commercial and retail lease documentation using standard precedents.
• Draft, update, and amend leases, renewals, variations, assignments, extensions, and related notices.
• Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before solicitor review.
• Manage document versions, correspondence, and electronic matter files.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather information and progress leasing matters.
• Support solicitors with correspondence and preparation of supporting documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of paralegal or legal support experience, preferably in commercial property or leasing.
• Experience preparing legal documents using precedents and templates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Excellent written English and professional communication skills.
