OTA & E‑Commerce Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced OTA & E‑Commerce Manager to own and improve online distribution performance across DBI Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio of boutique hotels, villas and resorts in Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute OTA strategy for all DBI properties, covering Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda and other key channels.
• Improve property ranking, visibility and conversion rates on each platform.
• Manage rate loading, restrictions, inventory, availability and ensure rate parity.
• Design and run OTA promotions, campaigns and tactical offers.
• Conduct market and competitor rate analysis and optimise content, photography and property descriptions.
• Monitor review scores, online reputation and support reputation management.
• Analyse channel contribution, cost‑of‑acquisition and commission structures; negotiate commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Reservations, Sales and Operations teams to monitor pickup, pace and booking‑window behaviour.
• Identify under‑performing properties or channels and produce weekly performance reports.
• Drive direct‑booking opportunities where commercially appropriate.

Required profile

• Commercially curious and highly analytical.
• Fast, detail‑oriented and confident working across multiple hotels.
• Proactive, comfortable challenging poor online performance.
• Obsessed with conversion and revenue generation.
• Able to work under daily and weekly performance targets.
• Hospitality distribution, reservations, revenue‑management or e‑commerce experience is essential.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with OTA platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia and Agoda.
• Use of channel‑management systems (e.g., eZee Centrix) and Property Management Systems.
• Rate‑shopping and revenue‑management tools.
• Analytics and conversion‑optimisation techniques.
• Content optimisation and photography coordination.
