Operations Officer

About the role

GTN is seeking a detail‑oriented Operations Officer to join its Global Operations team. The role focuses on accurate, timely execution of post‑trade processes across multiple securities markets and supports the modernization of operational workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day operational activities across global securities markets while maintaining high accuracy and internal controls.
• Support the full trade lifecycle, including trade entry, confirmations, settlement follow‑ups, custody instructions, and post‑trade exception handling.
• Monitor securities and cash settlement activities such as DVP/RVP and related custody workflows.
• Perform reconciliations of client books, cash, securities, and bank records, documenting and escalating any breaks.
• Assist with corporate action processing, handling event reviews, client instructions, and stakeholder follow‑up.
• Maintain operational records, trackers, checklists, SOPs, process maps, knowledge‑base articles, and departmental runbooks.
• Document workflows, identify manual or repetitive tasks, and contribute to automation and AI‑driven efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in securities operations within a fast‑paced, global environment.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to internal controls.
• Ability to work with operational systems, workflow tools, and process documentation.
• Proactive mindset for continuous improvement and automation.

Required skills

• Excel (advanced, for controls and reconciliations)
