Office 365 Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Office 365 Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, administer and support Intervest’s Microsoft 365 platform, ensuring secure, reliable and efficient collaboration services for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID users, groups, licensing and authentication.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and compliance.
• Implement Microsoft Defender security solutions and support Microsoft Purview compliance, retention and data governance.
• Handle mail flow, connectors, transport rules and email security settings.
• Set up MFA, SSPR and identity lifecycle processes.
• Troubleshoot performance and service issues, monitor health and recommend improvements.
• Manage certificates, DNS records and integrations with Microsoft 365.
• Participate in project delivery, technical change implementation and provide third‑line support and mentoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender and Purview.
• Ability to troubleshoot service issues and deliver third‑line support.
• Experience contributing to project delivery and technical change initiatives.
