MEAL Assistant for Mihikatha Lanka Project

About the role

The MEAL Assistant will support the MEAL Specialist in implementing Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning activities for the Mihikatha Lanka project in Welikanda and Rideemalyadda. This role involves data collection, entry, cleaning, analysis, and preparation of reports to ensure high‑quality monitoring and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist MEAL specialists in developing, contextualising, and translating MEAL tools.
• Collect, enter, clean, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
• Review Means of Verification for each activity and provide regular reports.
• Support assessments, research, and other M&E activities.
• Coordinate with project staff to track progress and update project trackers.
• Document beneficiary feedback and manage the complaints response mechanism.

Required profile

• Experience in data collection, entry, and basic analysis.
• Familiarity with MEAL processes and monitoring tools.
• Ability to work closely with MEAL specialists and project managers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data quality.
• Good communication skills for reporting and documentation.
