Manager, Financial Accounting and Control

About the role

The Manager, Financial Accounting & Control will lead the delivery of financial reporting and centralized accounting services for the London Stock Exchange Group subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate accounting in line with global policies and standards.
• Maintain bank reconciliation accuracy, minimise open items and drive process transformation.
• Identify risks and gaps, propose and implement remedial measures.
• Collaborate with Financial Controls to uphold the Financial Controls Framework.
• Meet tight reporting and audit deadlines and support internal/external audits.
• Onboard new scope, align to standard operating model and maintain balance‑sheet controls.
• Develop training documents and monitor KPIs for team performance.
• Build resilience and succession plans, and support change‑management projects.

Required profile

• Degree or professional accounting qualification with 6‑8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.
• Background in finance shared services or large‑scale ERP migrations.
• Strong understanding of technical accounting concepts and financial controls.
• Ability to work UK business hours and manage multiple priorities.
