Maintenance Lead Engineer I

About the role

The Maintenance Lead Engineer I will own the preventive maintenance (PM) system for assigned production lines, driving the elimination of maintenance‑related losses and supporting overall line performance. Working closely with the Line Lead, you will ensure safety, quality, reliability and productivity targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, revise and execute PM schedules, analyze breakdown data and maintain spare‑parts inventory.
• Lead the Daily Management System (DMS) for Break Down Elimination and Maintenance Planning & Scheduling.
• Conduct in‑depth loss analysis, follow up open defects and deploy resources to resolve them on time.
• Coach operating teams and equipment owners on technical aspects of equipment reliability.
• Run Weekly Direction Setting (WDS) meetings to monitor 90‑day target progress.
• Perform equipment ranking, define lubrication standards and train teams on critical equipment basics.
• Support creation of technical standards and systematic root‑cause identification.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Ability to analyze breakdown information and implement systematic solutions.
• Proactive attitude toward loss elimination and continuous improvement.
• Effective coaching and communication skills with cross‑functional teams.
