Key responsibilities
- Build and manage scalable Azure platforms using Terraform, Crossplane, AKS, Azure Container Apps and GitOps
- Develop reusable automation, libraries and templates using C# and Python
- Implement DevSecOps practices including SAST/DAST, vulnerability scanning, Azure Policy, Key Vault and container security
- Establish and improve SRE practices, including SLOs/SLIs, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, incident management and automation
- Drive cloud cost optimization through tagging, budgets, anomaly detection and automated rightsizing
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve incidents and deliver reliable platform operations
Required skills
- 2+ years of enterprise Azure experience – Mandatory
- Strong hands‑on experience with AKS, Azure Container Apps, VNets, ACR, Key Vault, Entra ID, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud and Azure Monitor
- Strong Kubernetes experience including Helm, RBAC, network policies, deployments and StatefulSets
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Crossplane
- Strong knowledge of ArgoCD, Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and GitOps
- Proficiency in Azure CLI, PowerShell, Bash, kubectl, Helm, Docker, Git
- Experience with Snyk, SonarQube, workload identity and container image security
- Knowledge of Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB and secure private connectivity
- Exposure to Backstage.NET and/or Python is an added advantage
