Lead Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to drive the design, development, and maintenance of our data analytics platform. The role focuses on delivering robust Power BI solutions while overseeing data pipelines built on modern cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement end‑to‑end data solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, and visualization.
• Lead the creation of Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring optimal performance and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce best practices in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as GCP Databricks and PySpark to enhance data processing capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX and Power Query expertise.
• At least 5 years of professional experience with SQL and Python.
• Proven ability to lead data engineering initiatives and guide technical teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality data solutions.
