Key Account Manager – FMCG

About the role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of FMCG customers, ensuring high service levels, timely order fulfillment and strong customer satisfaction. You will build and nurture relationships with buyers, category managers and operations contacts while supporting joint business planning and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts, monitor sales performance and stock levels.
• Develop and execute account plans, joint business plans and promotional calendars.
• Coordinate with internal teams (category, marketing, supply chain, finance) to meet account commitments.
• Prepare regular account reviews, sales reports and analyse promotional results.
• Identify growth opportunities, range extensions and process improvements.
• Assist in commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and contract renewals under senior guidance.
• Resolve customer issues and queries promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (bachelor's preferred).
• 2‑3 years of experience in account management, B2B sales, customer success, trade marketing or similar roles within e‑commerce, FMCG or retail.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms, online trade terms and FMCG distribution.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and produce clear reports.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business reviews.
