Junior Executive – Sales & Business Development

About the role

Lakru Packaging is seeking an energetic Junior Executive to drive B2B sales and business development for its eco‑friendly paper packaging solutions. The role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on sales experience who thrive in target‑driven environments and want direct rewards for closed deals.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch, and onboard new B2B clients through direct outreach, telemarketing, and in‑person meetings.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to quote presentation, negotiation, and order closing.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing corporate accounts to secure repeat business and upsell opportunities.
• Identify emerging market sectors, competitor trends, and new business opportunities.
• Plan and execute digital lead‑generation campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and WhatsApp Business to generate high‑intent inquiries.
• Coordinate basic promotional content, visual creatives, and product showcases to boost brand visibility.
• Track pipeline metrics, sales conversions, and weekly targets through regular reporting.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of proven B2B sales, field marketing, or client acquisition experience (packaging, printing, FMCG, or manufacturing a plus).
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• Strong negotiation and deal‑closing abilities with a proactive, target‑driven mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Sinhala.
• Valid driving licence or own transport is advantageous for field visits.
