Junior Executive - Procurement

About the role

Sumathi Holdings is seeking an organized and proactive Junior Executive – Procurement to support purchasing, supplier coordination and procurement operations across its diversified group of companies.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure goods and services according to approved specifications.
• Obtain quotations, prepare price comparison statements and negotiate favorable terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate procurement needs of the Transport Department and other internal units.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier details, invoices and supporting documents.
• Support disposal of obsolete assets and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma, degree or professional qualification in Logistics, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or vendor coordination is an advantage; fresh graduates with relevant academic or internship exposure are also encouraged.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
