Junior Business Development - Talent

About the role

The Junior Business Development – Talent position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Sri Lanka. You will support talent‑focused business development by identifying prospective clients, assisting lead‑generation campaigns and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
• Coordinate with internal teams to match talent solutions to client requirements.
• Provide responsive customer service to existing and potential partners.
• Prepare basic proposals or presentations and participate in meetings.
• Follow up on inquiries and contribute to the growth of the talent services portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and market trend assessment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with clients and internal teams.
• Lead‑generation experience or aptitude to identify and qualify prospects.
• Market‑research ability to gather and present industry and competitor information.
• Customer‑service skills to manage inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
• Basic understanding of business development or recruitment processes (advantage).
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and comfort working with data.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
