Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Maharagama. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving accounting environment and a clear path for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day accounting operations.
• Prepare invoices, vouchers and maintain financial records.
• Perform accurate bookkeeping and data entry.
• Reconcile bank statements and various accounts.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Assist with tax filings and statutory documentation.
• Carry out other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Partial qualification in AAT, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA or ACCA.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
