IT Application SAP Manager

About the role

Our client, a global leader in premium glass packaging and Asia's largest specialty glass manufacturer, is looking for a performance‑oriented Manager – IT Application SAP to join their manufacturing facility in Horana. The role will lead SAP and enterprise application initiatives, drive business analysis and ensure smooth delivery of technology solutions that support operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and detailed business analysis to identify technology solutions.
• Design effective solutions and drive end‑to‑end problem‑solving for business applications.
• Develop functional documentation, business requirements and use cases.
• Analyze and optimise business processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide end‑user training and post‑implementation support for enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams and business stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
• Coordinate with Corporate IT teams to ensure smooth system delivery, operations and ongoing support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management or a related discipline.
• 5–6 years of experience in SAP and enterprise application environments.
• Hands‑on experience in one or more SAP functional areas (SD, EWM, LE, MM, FICO, PP/QM).
• Experience in SAP implementations, rollouts and AMS engagements.
• Knowledge of non‑SAP applications such as Salesforce and HR systems.
• MBA qualification is an added advantage.
