Information Management & SharePoint Consultant (Microsoft Purview)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Information Management and Microsoft Purview & SharePoint Consultant to help our clients design and implement secure, scalable, and well‑governed solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The role is highly consultative, combining deep technical expertise with stakeholder engagement to establish practical governance frameworks while keeping SharePoint environments intuitive and effective.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and client sessions to capture business processes, information requirements and governance needs.
• Design information architecture, metadata models, content types and site structures in SharePoint Online.
• Implement Microsoft Purview capabilities such as Sensitivity Labels, Data Loss Prevention, retention and lifecycle management.
• Provide guidance on Microsoft Teams integration and Power Platform automation for document workflows.
• Translate business objectives into practical, compliant Microsoft 365 solutions and produce clear documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Information Management, Microsoft Purview and SharePoint Online consulting engagements.
• SC‑401 (formerly SC‑400) certification.
• Strong facilitation skills for client workshops and senior stakeholder communication.
• Analytical, problem‑solving mindset with a pragmatic, business‑focused approach to governance.
