Head of Talent Acquisition

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a dynamic Head of Talent Acquisition to lead and scale its hiring function in Sri Lanka. You will be responsible for driving high‑volume recruitment across multiple business lines while addressing operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for large‑scale and bulk hiring requirements across business lines.
• Build, drive, and optimise high‑volume recruitment strategies to meet aggressive hiring targets.
• Identify bottlenecks, simplify processes, and solve execution‑level challenges.
• Partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs and align hiring plans accordingly.
• Drive vendor management, sourcing mix, and channel effectiveness for volume hiring.

Required profile

• 10–12 years of overall experience in talent acquisition, including 2–3 years in a strategic role driving large‑scale hiring initiatives.
• Exposure to technical hiring is an added advantage.
• Strong ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels.
• Track record of consistently meeting large‑scale hiring targets.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Ability to simplify problems, drive solutions, and execute with urgency.
