Head of Sales – Global B2C Travel Organization

About the role

Olanka Travels is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead and scale its 100+ member B2C sales organization across multiple continents. The role involves strategic leadership, performance management and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive global growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a global B2C sales organization of 100+ members across clusters, managing Cluster Heads, Sales Managers, Assistant Managers and Team Leaders.
• Drive monthly targets for sales revenue, gross profit, conversion rates and productivity.
• Own the end‑to‑end lead‑to‑conversion funnel and ensure optimal performance at each stage.
• Establish daily, weekly and monthly sales management rhythms and reporting cadences.
• Strengthen forecasting accuracy, pipeline management and performance accountability across the team.
• Coach and develop managers and emerging sales leaders, building a strong leadership pipeline.
• Identify performance gaps, implement corrective actions and continuously improve sales processes.
• Partner with Marketing, Customer Care, Tour Operations, HR and Finance to enhance overall commercial results.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience with senior sales leadership exposure.
• Proven track record leading 75–100+ salespeople or a comparable multi‑layered sales organization.
• Experience managing managers, assistant managers and team leaders in a high‑volume B2C environment.
• Strong expertise in sales funnels, conversion, pipeline management, forecasting and productivity metrics.
• Highly numbers‑driven, structured approach to performance management and reporting.
• Excellent people leadership, coaching and stakeholder‑management skills with a hands‑on style.
