Global Markets Sales – Associate/AVP

About the role

The Global Markets Sales team within Risk Management Solutions delivers FX, rates, commodity and bespoke financial market risk solutions to corporate clients across APAC. The Associate/AVP will drive revenue growth by managing client relationships and executing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver business objectives within the bank’s risk framework, including pricing and execution of client transactions.
• Maintain senior‑level client relationships, conduct regular meetings, and identify cross‑sell opportunities.
• Provide market updates, economic insights, and coordinate client access to Deutsche Bank research.
• Collaborate with regional specialist teams and other business lines to expand wallet share.
• Oversee periodic review of internal guidance documents and plan client events.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in a sales‑related role.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, treasury products, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows.
• Knowledge of governance, control and operational risk processes.
